Sort of, kind of...

The kiddos have decided they want to be independent.
Kind of.
The "I'm not going to do what you are asking me to do because I don't want to and because I want to do what I want to do" and then the "But you didn't tell me to!!"
Basically I'm supposed to tell them everything and then not expect them to listen. I guess they like the sound of my voice?

We actually had a great mini-vacation in Mass this past weekend. Will and I got some time alone in Boston (no we did not leave the kids on the subway) and we all got to be spoiled just a bit. I even got served my own snack while I lounged on the couch! I could get used to the spoiled-ness of being pregnant. The kids got to have some one-on-one time with their Memere and they soaked up having someone (mostly)completely doting on them. They are both growing up so fast, I always miss that fact in the day to day craziness but when we stop while visiting family, I am able to reflect on the memories of the past visits. Mostly its how much food they can pack away now. 10 lbs of ribs was devoured by 6 people. Not too bad!

Baby is growing big and the kicks are getting slightly harder. William, Kayla and Will have all felt the baby kicking and sometimes the baby gets annoyed at them squishing its space while they are snuggling me and will kick them heartily. The daycare kids have been coming with me to heartbeat appointments and they love listening to the heartbeat. Even the twins (almost 2 years old) have started to understand that there is a baby inside my growing belly. One of the best things about doing the daycare is all the kisses and snuggles that I get. I know bambino will be super loved by these kiddos that give my belly tons of kisses. Some of the older kids have felt the baby kicking. The little ones love patting my belly but their attention span is shorter and bambino is kind of shy.

I can't wait for bambino to make its appearance (after its fully ready of course) and add to my craziness. I'll have 6 kids to look after during the day. Good thing my car fits 7, we might be able to escape the crazy house some days :)
