Maple and I were told to find somewhere else to live last Friday and as I explained to my mentor teacher that I needed to take the day off, she graciously asked me to stay with her for the weekend and granted the day off. Feeling desperation I searched for an apartment and found one, a little more than I had hoped to spend per month but a home nonetheless. I move in next weekend. When I excitedly told my mentor teacher, she told me that I would stay with her for the week then so I only needed to make one transition.
Both Maple and I are feeling a lot better in our temporary home but are excited to finally have a place to call our own!

I hope things go well with the new place. Transitions are rough and I hope it becomes "home" quickly.
Hooray for a place to call your own! That's always a nice feeling for sure.
