Learning to Snowboard
Today I went snowboarding for the 3rd time. I'm loving it! I only ride the blue or green trails (those are the easiest ones) and usually let everyone within sight go down before me. I figure this gives me less objects to potentially run into and it lets me fall down in seemingly flat areas without worrying about other people wounding my pride. I'm improving a lot now and can actually get off the lift 90% of the time without falling. The first time I strapped on a snowboard Dan took me to the top of the mountain. While on the lift I realized that I had no idea how to even move the thing and therefore had no idea how to get off the lift. After realizing this dilemma Dan tried to coach me on how the board worked and what I needed to do with my body but alas the technical stuff went right over my head and I basically stepped off the lift and fell flat on my face.

as for snowboarding, i'd love to try it; but, something tells me to put it off until i'm done raising my kids....or at least done with my teeth.
cheers!
