I left Maple at home while I walked over to the grocery store to pick up a few things. Even though I can use my roommate's car I occasionally like to walk to the grocery store. Something about knowing that I can get things on my own without depending on other people.
Maple didn't mind too much being left behind but as the day progressed and the snow added up, Maple indicated she really wanted to go outside and play. I was talking to my neighbor the other day and she had told me that there was a dog park close by. I decided to go check it out with Maple. Its about 5 blocks away and is huge. And there was a good turnout so Maple was able to race around and play with some other dogs. She's made a big improvement with her obedience (YAY!). Even though she was running around with another dog, if I called her, she would run over to me. And when it was time to go, she ran over to the gate with me and sat still while I dug her leash out of my pocket. I think she was one of the best mannered dogs there!
Today the temperature promises to get up to 17 degrees. Weather like this makes me happy for a warm home and wish for a car so I don't have to wait for the bus. Guess who will be wearing smart wool pants and top to go to ASL class...

Haha...Why sure :) I hope that means you'd like me to come over too. It could be all in one help...maple will help pip and I can help with the kiddos :)
