Saturday, Sam spent most of the day in front of the fireplace. While she usually lays in front of the fireplace when its on, today she sat, gazing into the fireplace. She looks pretty meditative I thought...
A couple of Sundays ago Nick, Keri (Dan's brother and sister-in-law) and some friends decided to come up and go snowboarding. It was great fun and I decided to bring my camera along since I was getting better at snowboarding and wasn't falling as much. The mountain has a couple of parks that you can go into, or avoid in my case, to do jumps and slide on the boxes and rails. One of the parks is for learning and the other one is HUGE! Dan and friends, not Keri, went into the park, I followed to take pictures but they didn't realize that and zoomed off before I could get ready. I still tried to take some pictures and if you look carefully at the following picture, you'll see Dan just before he hits a jump...

There are days when Daryl will sit at the fence in the backyard and just watch for hours. I think he is waiting for the birds to come, hoping he can chase one. Not realizing that they are on the wrong side of the fence :) We hope that your animals are doing well as well as you and Dan!
