Teaching is getting better. The kids listened so well yesterday and I was so excited. Dan told me not to get my hopes up, that I probably still have a mountain to climb until they'll listen to me all the time. It makes me feel so much better when I don't need the teachers help in getting everyone's attention or her reminding them to stay focused on me. I guess one day at a time...

Walking in a winter wonderland
It's snowing outside. Our apartment has one of those gas fireplaces and it feels so nice to sit next to the fire, drinking tea, and watching the snow fall, and know that you don't have to drive in it. My goal for today is to do all of my homework, or quite a bit of it so that during next week I'll be able to spend some quality time with Dan that is longer than the 20 minutes we spend eating dinner together. Maybe I'll also be able to go snowboarding to get some much needed exercise. That would be so nice.

It's been snowing here, too. I'm jealous that you have a fireplace to sit by. I'm pretty sure they wouldn't like it if I started a fire in my apartment. Yay for kids listening!
