3 more semesters to go

Today is my last day of total freedom until the end of the semester. Classes start back up again tomorrow. It hasn't quite hit me yet and probably won't until I go to my first class tomorrow and get the syllabus and realize how much work I have to do. This semester I'm going to be starting my student teaching in the public school system. I'm not sure yet where I will be placed, but hopefully its somewhere relatively close to where I live. I'll be there from 8-11, 2 mornings a week. It should be fun, but I'm worried about my wardrobe. While working at the pre-school, I didn't really have to worry about my clothes. Jeans or a pair of casual pants with a sweatshirt were all that was expected and mostly all that I wore. Even if the school district has a casual dress standard, usually the UVM supervisors require us dressing up, or so I've heard. While I can probably stretch what I already have, it might mean me wearing the same thing every week or at least every other week. Do people remember other people's clothes and how often they wear them? I hope not. However it does give me a good excuse to go shopping...

Oh yeah. People do remember what other people wear, especially students. I remember one teacher who seemed to wear the same outfit everyday. Then there was a student teacher who wore a pink tie. Yep, he got heckled. Hopefully you don't have to dress too formal.

i never really pay attention to what folks are wearing...provided it's not fluorescent or 70's retro.
