Stalling before going to school...

Before every semester I have these dreams that I'm late for class, don't know where the class is, and have forgotten all of my things for class. I wouldn't call them nightmares but they definitely wake me up in a panic. This semester I only had a dream that I forgot my pen and books but conveniently found a really cool pen (I said that in my dream too "wow. Cool pen") lying on the floor.
Today is the first day that both dogs will be in a kennel. We finally had the money to spend on a new kennel and bought one that is actually huge (wasn't on purpose). It was hard to picture how big the kennel actually is without putting the dogs in it so we bought the extra large one, telling ourselves that bigger is better, and found out that in a pinch we could actually put both dogs in just the one. Its cool. They can even walk around each other in it. Better than having to lug both kennels around. We're going to put Maple in the new one because we're mostly sure that she won't be able to get out of it and Sam (we hope) is too lazy to try to get out of the smaller, older one. We'll see how it goes. The only other problem is that the neighbor has informed us that the dogs howl when we leave them. I wanted to respond to him that maybe he should find something to do during the day, like a job. I'm not sure whether we should try to address it (how do you stop a dog from howling without using a shock collar?) or whether its just something that is going to happen and eventually they'll get used to it.
Well time to get ready for school...wish me luck...
