I think I may have gotten hooked on running.
I'll wait until the laughter dies down...
Seriously though. Now that my body doesn't feel like falling apart as soon as I step off the treadmill I don't mind it. It's a great challenge! Trying to keep pushing myself to go farther than the time before or by increasing the speed and keep the same distance. So far I've been able to steer away from buying cool gadgets for running...but perhaps that's more because my finances are a bit limited. I did invest in running shoes at Will's insistence...something about trying not to destroy my knees ; )
Today I finished with Walking for Fitness and my swimming class and went to watch the Inauguration in the Student Center. As I was sitting there, I started thinking about how I have the afternoons off on Tuesdays and Thursdays and perhaps I should just start running every day during the week. Did I mention that I already am taking swimming and walking for fitness on Tuesdays and Thursdays? And this is coming from the gal that absolutely refused to step foot on a treadmill last year. You all can blame Will for this new obsession...
